| The client can engage
Pierian in outsourcing a particular process or a set of
processes on a gradually incremental basis. The engagement
will be based on a Master Services Agreement (MSA) between
the two companies that defines the framework of operations.
Ownership of all (people, process and resources) lies
with Pierian. The IPR of the business processes will rest
with the Client or Pierian, as agreed in the MSA |
| The work will be
carried out in Pierian’s facilities in Bangalore,
India. Depending on the size, complexity and the transition
needs, a small team of transition managers could be located
at the Client’s facilities to be able to map the
client processes to the delivery team offshore. |
| Pierian will provide
broad / firm estimates for the projects to be executed.
Pricing can be structured either on a Time, Material &
Expenses (T&M) basis, or on a Fixed Fee (FF) basis
subject to the agreed scope. The pricing model can be
broadly agreed to in the MSA and can change form as the
parties involved mature in their relationship. |
| The client will
have limited control over resources. Project management
will be typically Pierian’s responsibility while
the responsibility of transition of processes will rest
with the client. Typically, Pierian will need mobilization
time to start and ramp up offshore operations for the
client. This is situation specific. |
