Ashwini Murthy

Ashwini is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience spanning Accounting, Auditing, Financial Reporting, Corporate Management, Outsourcing, Process Re‑engineering, and Management Consulting. She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Certified Public Accountant (AICPA, USA). She is also IFRS certified by ICAI and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Ashwini began her career with Ernst & Young and Hewlett Packard in India, specializing in tax and financial functions, and played a significant role in SOX compliance audits. She gained international exposure during her internship in Singapore and later served as Assistant Controller at Venturity Financial Partners in Texas, deepening her understanding of US business and regulatory environments.

At Pierian, she previously headed Operations, overseeing Process Transition, Compliance, Taxation, Accounting, and Consulting for clients in the US and Middle East. As Director – Managed Services, she has built and scaled a dedicated tax team, strengthened CAS and ESO functions, and developed niche verticals such as Private Equity Fund Accounting and Real Estate Valuation, enhancing service capabilities and client value.
