Chetan Venugopal
Co-Founder
Chetan is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with additional certifications from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is the Co‑founder of Pierian Services Pvt. Ltd., a leading Professional Services firm with 2200+ professionals delivering Managed Services in Finance and Accounting, HR, Data Analytics, and Technology. Pierian operates across India, the US, Singapore, and the Middle East.
He has led the setup of shared service delivery models in Finance, HR, and Business Process Outsourcing for multinational clients such as Toyota India and Amazon sellers in India. He has conducted Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits for companies across APAC and driven consulting and analytics engagements for clients in the Middle East travel sector.
Chetan served as an Independent Director on the Board of Indian Railways Finance Corporation (2019–2021) and chaired the audit committee during its public listing. He was also a member of the Government of Karnataka’s Vision Group on Higher Education.
Before co-founding Pierian, he was Vice President – Finance at a global technology company. A passionate sportsperson, he has represented Karnataka and South Zone in cricket and actively supports social causes through Rotary Bangalore Prime.
