Sanjay Lalwani

Sanjay Lalwani is a seasoned finance and business leader with nearly two decades of experience across eCommerce, FMCG, heavy machinery, and commodities trading in India and global markets. As Chief Delivery Officer – eCommerce at Pierian Services, he leads strategic delivery and operational transformation initiatives, ensuring excellence, scalability, and innovation across client engagements.

Before Pierian, Sanjay served as Chief Financial Officer at Clicktech Retail (an Amazon JV), where he strengthened financial governance, enhanced profitability, and accelerated operational efficiency through data‑driven and digital transformation initiatives. He also held senior roles at another Amazon JV, advancing accounting frameworks, driving automation, and ensuring robust compliance.

Earlier, as Country CFO for a global heavy equipment company, he delivered strategic impact through financial restructuring, risk management, and multi‑geography process improvements. His cross‑industry career includes leadership positions at Barloworld Equipment, Olam International, and Hindustan Coca‑Cola Beverages, where he developed expertise in financial planning, working capital optimization, and operational transformation.

Sanjay holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde (UK), is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAI), and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).
